Jeff Jorgensen - Chef and Co-founder

Jeff’s love for food began at an early age growing up in Pennsylvania, where his mom and aunt would make and sell home-made pies with fruit from a nearby farm.  His family later moved to Knoxville, where his interest in food continued to grow. At 15, Jeff started working for Aubrey’s restaurants where he gained experience in management and all areas of the restaurant business.  While completing his seminary degree in Atlanta, Jeff was able to continue pursuing his craft by working with the acclaimed restaurants, Muss & Turner’s and Canoe.  His experience working with Homespun further inspired his vision for gathering people around the table for a unique culinary experience.  Jeff later became a chef at WinShape Foundation (Chick-fil-A’s non-profit organization) in Rome, Georgia, where his passion deepened for welcoming others to the table.

After returning home to Knoxville, Jeff had the opportunity to hone his culinary skills at RT Lodge, and he and Jessica decided to launch Farm to Feast at his sister’s farm in Hardin Valley.  Along with fresh eggs being produced, She Diggs Farm uses traditional farming techniques to grow its product in a way that is environmentally friendly and produces quality and sustainable products.  Sourced from the farm as much as possible, Jeff loves to create elevated meals, either delivered to your door, served at the farm, or catered to a private party in your home.

Jessica Jorgensen - Event Planner and Co-founder

With an undergraduate degree in hotel, restaurant, and tourism and a master’s degree in professional counseling, Jessica is deeply passionate about the intersection of hospitality and care.   When she and Jeff met in 2009, it did not take long for them to begin dreaming about how they could use their joint love for hospitality to serve people in a way that provides transformative experiences of nourishment and care.  During their time in Georgia, Jessica was able to gain invaluable experience as an event planner at WinShape.

While Jeff can be found in the field kitchen cooking up his next culinary delight, Jessica can be found planning their next farm dinner event or story feast!  Jeff and Jessica have two sons, Gabe and Eli, who are excited about their parents' new venture and enthusiastic about tractors, chickens, and all things pertaining to farm life!
